Protocols and adaptation
Considering the renewal of technologies in the face of increased risk: In 2017 “KLP MAMAN” renewed the protocols and adaptation for its clients, authorities and private companies.
Red timing
In the first quarter of 2017 KLP Maman operates several red timing penetration tests to its client in different intricacy.

According to annualstudies conducted by the University of Florida, the Center for Retail Researchand the British Retail Consortium – inventory shrinkage in the U.S. and Europe totals, onaverage, 2% of retailers’ annual revenues,and results in an average loss of 20% of their profits,due mainly to employee and customer theft.Alarming as these studies may be, the situation is actually graver, since manythefts and losses occur in businesses without manifesting themselves asinventory losses. These “silent” losses are usually hidden within expenses thecompany has learned to accept as normal, such as recalls, third-party expensesand more. KLP MAMAN’s Loss Prevention division offers a powerful combination ofhands-on expertise coupled with 25 years of experience in the field. Our uniquephilosophy and mode of operation provide our customers with complete visibilityand control of their daily operations, drastically reducing their operationaland inventory loss with a minimum of added investment on their part


Audit
The audit is the core of the program. It includes a comprehensive overview of the company’s loss situation in terms of people, processes and technologies. KLP MAMAN performs a detailed analysis of the company’s operational structure, the supply chain processes, operational policy, operational work methods, existing operational & loss prevention technologies, and finally the deployment and use of IT for loss prevention purposes. Detailed operational interviews are held with key personnel at all levels, with special attention paid to creating a comfortable team atmosphere throughout the program’s life cycle. This stage culminates in a detailed written summary report, delivered in person and accompanied by a thorough presentation, addressing all risk elements found in the audit alongside the recommended solutions and measurements of the loss factors and their contribution to company loss.
Work Plan & Adaptation
This is a key element of the program. At this stage, KLP MAMAN offers to adapt, together with the relevant company personnel, all the policies, processes, procedures and technologies that the audit found in need of changes, adaptation / enhancement. Our “Complete Process Security” policy is implemented alongside physical security/LP measures as needed. This is also the stage where our software interface can be installed and customized (depending on the company’s software structure), and the central LP control is established / enhanced. The adaptation process is an integral part of the program and we strongly advise our clients to pursue this stage immediately after the audit.
Training
KLP MAMAN offers hands-on training of all relevant personnel regarding the changes that were made during the adaptation stage. This stage includes written and verbal training, case studies, on-site training, qualification testing, the implementation of ongoing awareness programs, the option of establishing a Loss Prevention Unit / Department, and basic and advanced training and instruction.
